" I am a passionate Early Years specialist and I adore the pastoral side of teaching; I pride myself on the relationships that I develop with the children that I teach. I have been a qualified primary school teacher for 13 years now and I also have a little girl of my own- she is the absolute light of my life!

I studied for my teaching qualification at Roehampton University in South West London in 2009 and have since earned my NPQSL leadership qualification.

With an exciting, child-led curriculum and carefully planned opportunities, I look forward to inspiring your children to be fully prepared for the start of their school life and ready to soar!"

Hello, I'm Daniel and I'm also a company director of Little Acorns Brighton.

Bex Rose and Daniel Garnham met whilst teachers at a local primary school 9 years ago. With over 25 years primary school classroom teaching experience between them, they are excited to be spreading their wings and sharing their expertise. They are passionate about preparing children for primary school and giving them the very best start in life.

Bex Rose

Executive Business Manager

"Following a BA in Music and English, I completed my teacher training at the University of Sussex in 2008 and I've worked as a qualified primary teacher in a variety of schools across the county.

During the pandemic, I made the leap out of the primary classroom and set up Sussex Kids Hub, providing out-of-school education and childcare across the city. We've worked with over 250 families since our launch and I'm excited to be supporting even more as we start our nursery adventure.

I live in Brighton with my daughter, wife and Shihpoo, Poppy. My passions include art, design and music - I love nothing more than making giant sculptures for the Brighton Children's Parade. I'm looking forward to escaping the office and providing great creative opportunities for our little ones!"

Manager of Outdoor Learning
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator

" I completed my teaching qualification at Roehampton University in South West London in 2009 and have been living and teaching in London for the past 13 years. I recently moved to Brighton with my young family and am looking forward to exploring the opportunities the city has to offer.

I have been an Early Years specialist throughout my career and have a particular passion for the curiosity approach to learning.

Whilst teaching in London, I led our outdoor learning and am excited for all the wonderful opportunities we will be able to offer in our woodland setting."
